Conditions
- You are using Safari as your web browser.
- You are completing the Finances page of the ALEX Yearbook report.
- You enter data, like Local Operating Receipts or Building/Capital Receipts on the Finances page.
- You click Save and Continue.
- When you return to the Finances page, some or all of the data you entered is zero.
The Issue
When using Safari, if you type commas into a numeric field, like '189,600' for example, Safari will not save the value, and will be stored as zero.
Alternatives
- Enter the values without commas, like '189600'.
- You can use comma separators while typing to verify the correct value, but remove them before clicking Save and Continue.
- Use a different browser, such as Chrome. However, Chrome ignores non-numeric characters, like commas, so it's harder to verify large values.
