Getting Started
Go to the ALEX login page at alex.disciples.org and click the orange Request Account: Regional/General Staff.
ALEX2 will ask for your email address. ALEX2 uses the email address to see if you already have a person record in the system. Enter your email address and click Check Email Address.
Connect to Your Existing Account
If ALEX finds the email address you entered, ALEX will show your name in a box. To continue with the account under your name, click your name in the box.
If the name presented is not you, or if you want to create the account under a different name, click Not you? Click here to request a new staff account. Skip ahead to Request Your Account.
If ALEX does not find your email address or if you are requesting the account under a different name, ALEX will give you a chance to check the email address you entered. If you entered the address correctly click the Click here for a new account link to proceed.
You can also correct the email address and click Check Email Address.
ALEX will display the form to request your account.
Enter your first and last name. In the Organization Type box, select Regional Ministry or General Ministry. If you select Regional Ministry, select your region from the Region drop list. Click Request Account.
ALEX2 will display a success message.
This indicates that the system administrator has received notification of your request. Once the administrator has set up your account, you will receive an email instructing you to return to the login page and begin again with the Forgot Username or Password link.
Keep in mind that ALEX is creating an account with specific access for a person rather than an organization.
