When a congregation reports weekly attendance and giving data, whether as individual entries or by uploading an Excel file, ALEX sets the date on the entry to a Sunday.
ALEX presents line graphs weekly attendance and giving data on the home page, Giving page, and Attendance page of the ALEX web site. ALEX not only reports this data for the congregation, but it also rolls the totals up to regions and to general ministries.
Not all congregations hold their weekly worship on Sunday, so ALEX dates the weekly entries with Saturday's date. This presents totals for a week as a single data point to regional and general users.
