TFPCOM is the Theological Foundations and Policies and Criteria for the Ordering of Ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It defines establishes the policy and criteria for ordained and commissioned ministry within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. As such, it guides the work of the General Commission on Ministry and regional commissions on the ministry.
The current version was approved by the General Assembly in 2009 and went into effect on August 1, 2011. It has been amended twice, in September 2009 and May 2014.
