How do I add an address in ALEX?

Region, Church, and People records in ALEX can have one or more addresses. To add a new address, start by clicking Edit in upper right of the record page.


In the Address section, click the + Add Address button at the bottom of the list of addresses.

Addresses in ALEX require Address Line 1, City, State, Zip/Postal Code, Country*, and at least one address type. Enter this information.


If the record has multiple addresses, one of the addresses must be marked Primary. If the record only has one address, ALEX will mark that address Primary by default.

Click Confirm Change, then save the record.

* A bug in ALEX currently prevents entering and editing Canadian addresses. The ALEX development team is working on this.
