How do I search the list in the Church Directory?

For ALEX subscribers and General Staff, the Church Directory (Directories => Church) shows all churches currently listed with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). You can use the search box and filtering options to narrow down the list. These options appear at the top of the list.

To search the list by PIN, church name, or city, type a vlue into the Search churches box and press enter.

To filter the list using additional criteria, click the + More Fields button. This will allow you to filter the list based on Region, Yearbook Code (In Formation, Fully Affiliated), record Status (Active = listed, Inactive = no longer listed), Inactive Reason, or District/Area. Check the box next to the criteria you wish to use. To select a filter value, click on the criterion name and select one or more values from the list.For example, to show the list of congregations in formation in the Pacific Southwest region:

1. Click the + More Fields button.
2. Select Region and Yearbook Code from the list of criteria.
3. Click on Region, and select Pacific Southwest from the list of regions.
4. Click on Yearbook Code and select In Formation from the list of values.

When a list has been filtered, a Reset button appears next to + More Fields. Click Reset to return to the default list.
