How do I search the list in the People Directory?

For ALEX subscribers and General Staff, the People Directory (Directories => People) will load all ministers that currently hold standing with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). You can use the search box and filtering options to narrow down the list. These options appear at the top of the list.

To search the list by name, type a name into the Search people box and press enter.

To filter the list using additional criteria, click the + More Fields button. This will allow you to filter the list based on Professional Code, Order of Ministry, Region, record Status, and Title. Check the box next to the criteria you wish to use. To select a filter value, click on the criterion name and select one or more values from the list.

For example, to show the list of commissioned ministers in the Indiana region:

1. Click the + More Fields button.
2. Select Region and Order of Ministry from the list of criteria.
3. Click on Region, and select Indiana from the list of regions.
4. Click on Order of Ministry and select C from the list of values.

When a list has been filtered, a Reset button appears next to + More Fields. Click Reset to return to the default list.
